Lehman's "phone from 100 years ago" is actually brand new -- and it works

Old Fashioned Telephone
This style of phone was the most popular phone at the turn of the century and now this authentic reproduction can be yours.

Masterpiece of workmanship-Outstanding in every way. Solid oak cabinet is handmade. Joints, hinges and trim fit precisely.

Authentic look-Writing shelf, cloth line cord, metal Western Electric plate, brass bells and rim add to the totally authentic appearance of this phone. Crank on side turns but is for looks only. Even has a brass hook for hanging up your phone book.

It works-Just plug it into any standard phone jack. Open front door (held shut with magnet catch) and dial number on the touch tone pad. Bells ring mechanically on incoming calls. Lift weighted ear piece and talk into mouthpiece on transmitter arm. Brass eyelets in each corner for mounting on wall accept 1/8¿ screws (not included).

These steam-powered toy boats might look like antiques, but they're not!

Old-fashioned toys from Lehmans.com
Lehman's specializes in selling non-electric products, but even they were surprised to come across these. Brightly painted tin body and authentic look makes these boats not only a collector's item, but also a toy your kids will want to play with. Grandpa will enjoy it too as this type of toy has been popular since the 1920s.

How it works-Just fill the reservoir with water and the fuel pan with olive oil. Steam is generated when water is drawn into the pipes and hits the hot boiler inside the boat. Forward movement is caused by steam pulsing out of tubes under water at the rear of the boat.

You can purchase the original speedboat style or the jumbo harbor tug; or, browse more non-electric toys by visiting Lehmans.com, here.
